Sometimes we don't know what our future holds, but I know who holds my future. God will the be the only one who never leaves my side through thick and thin and He has been reminding me of that a lot lately. :) Sometimes I depend on human contact too much instead of His contact and it's His contact that I need and crave, not people. Don't get me wrong, I love being around people, but lately I think I've been putting that up higher than a relationship with Jesus and there is a song that I just heard called Captain by Hillsong United and it has really touched my soul. It was posted by a contact I have on facebook, someone I've never met before, but this post has set me back on the right track and I'm thankful for that. God will send us messages however He can and however we will listen. Thank You Lord for you messages, great and small. Thank You Lord for sending Your messages through others in ways even they may not know. Lord, You never cease to amaze me, the love You have for us, what You still do for us and what You have done for us <3 I love You Jesus and I am eternally grateful to You
This morning I woke up feeling refreshed and renewed. God is so good. I am so glad that feeling like I had yesterday is gone and that today it feels like whatever was off yesterday is gone today. :) Right now Johnny and I are the only ones awake, I have tried and failed at several attempts to get Randy up and our dog, Ginger is outside hoping to catch a glimpse of the squirrel.
It is hard to believe that today is the last day of July and that tomorrow will already be August 1st. Time really does fly and we never know what tomorrow will bring. This world is a chaotic place to live in and who knows what will happen. I know One who knows, God and only He can bring peace and comfort in the middle of the chaos that surrounds us. Do you have a relationship with Jesus? If not, do you want one? He is the Healer, the Redeemer, He is a friend, He is the Father. He brings us what we need, it isn't always what we want, but it is what is best for us. He loves us unconditionally, so much that He died on the cross so that He become the ultimate sacrifice so we could live...3 days later He rose from the dead..He dwelt on the earth another 40 days before going back up into the heavens to His rightful place. God is definitely not dead...He is alive indeed and He will stand when nothing else or nobody else will. He is a just God, a loving God-One to place all your cares and worries on. He will carry you through any tough situation, I know this first hand. He is amazing and I could go on forever about how great God is...but if you want to know for yourself then ask Him into your life, Repent, be baptized and receive the gift God has for us all-the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide you and be that voice of reason. The one that comes in your mind when you know you are about to do something you shouldn't...the one that tries to bring reason to you...the one that says hey, this isn't a good idea. Prayers and blessings to you all for a wonderful day.....
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they
may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Today has been an off kind of day and I am always really alert on these kind of days. You never know what may come up or what will be in store. The best thing about these kinds of days is the fact that God is in control and that He will not cause me harm. Things happen in life that aren't in our control, but He is always in control and He always has our best interests at heart. Life definitely has it's ups and downs and twists and turns but it is what we do with it that matters in the end. We may or may not have people in our life who help us through situations, but God is always there. No matter what you believe or what you think God is for us and not against us. I am living proof of that. <3 Today, just like any other off day will come to an end and tomorrow will bring another day. Hopefully tomorrow is not as off as today was.
