School starts here soon for the boys and for me. I can't believe that I am going back to school. I am both nervous and excited for this new journey that God has in store for me. He sure is teaching me a lot about patience lately, :) Ask and you shall receive, right? Johnny goes to see the ENT doctor on Tuesday. He has been cleared by the pulmonary doctor to be able to have the trach removed and now we have to go through the process with ENT because they will be the ones to remove it. They have to do a scope and pulmonary said possibly another sleep study so we shall see. God has been so good and so faithful. None of the doctors thought that he'd be as good as he is with everything since the accident. :) Faith is an amazing thing especially in a child and the determination in this five year old is simply amazing. So, if you ever feel like giving up and giving in just remember that God is there for you to help you through whatever situation that you may be facing. There is always a way out of any situation and it starts with turning to God. <3

Today has been a very good day :) The boys and I made some "lanterns" after a bible lesson that we had about being the light of the world. We need to show people Christ through us and our actions. When we proclaim to be a Christian, we need to show the world Christ. There are many ways that we can do this. We can treat people how He would want us to treat them, how He would treat them...with compassion and love and with mercy and grace just as He displays to us daily. He loves us so much that He came down here and died for us and when we accept Him we are to be His hands and His feet in this world. We can reach out to those who are hurting and teach them about Him, show Him love as Christ would show them. To live as He wants us to live. Yes, we will all sin and that is where repentance and God's grace comes in. God forgives us, when we forgive others. We should extend the same kind of mercy to people that God shows us. :) <3

I just realized that in 20 days I will be 33 years old. The years really have flown by. I never believed people when they said after high school they years go by quickly..I would always give them a laugh and never think anything else about it..but my goodness how true they were with saying that. The years have gone by so fast and they seem to go by faster and faster and faster.... :/
Today has started off pretty good :) The kiddos have been a bit restless because I have put a time limit on their electronic use. They become too dependent on those things and to me it's the same a drug because someone needing their drug becomes moody and these kids who don't get their tablet becomes moody too. There are more things for them to enjoy in their life than a tablet. August has only a few more weeks before school starts up and I want them to be able to do stuff that I used to do as a kid. We are going to have projects to do throughout the coming weeks. I have looked up a lot of crafts to do with them, not just paper crafts either. I've looked up things that boys should like such as flubber and volcano stuff and rocketships and such. So, here is to the final weeks of their "freedom" before school returns. Thank You Lord for the time I have with them and for placing them in my care. <3
